My son is four and he tells a few lies. This I imagine is quite normal; shows he has theory of mind and imagination, which is useful. The thing is though, is that he’s growing up in a house where telling lies for fun is quite normal. He sees my comics about his family life, some of which are made up and silly. I hope this isn’t unhealthy. I’ve always seen it as story telling, but I guess it’s not the norm.
