So, Daniel Locke and I were discussing our pencil work the other night, and he was curious to know how much time I put into mine. So here’s some from todays work. As you can see, they are pretty much the exact lines that go into the comic, I add weight and emphasis through the pressure I apply with the nib, and then depth and life and all that through the wash. I could go straight to inks, but it might turn out awful. 
This page took me all day, maybe ten or eleven hours and I’ve still got to add the text and scan it all. A lot of that time I was probably distracted by internet, mind you. And one face that I just couldn’t get right.
